Thanksgiving Dinner

We spend a lot of time with our friends so it only made sense to celebrate Thanksgiving together as well!!! However, we all have our own families, who we enjoy spending Thanksgiving with, therefore as a group we decided to celebrate Pre-Thanksgiving!!! We each brought some of the traditional food and enjoyed good company, good food, and great drinks!!! Dinner was suppose to start at seven o'clock however me, being me, forgot to put the turkey in the oven until about five o'clock!!! I seasoned it, had it in the browning bag, and had it in the pot at eleven in the morning...Some how I completly forgot to put it in the oven!! It was ready by eight thirty (just a little late) and might I add it was very yummy!!

Buoy

Buoy is Tanner's first love!!! He is our six year old black lab! We both love him very much but I do have to admit that he is not the brightest dog in the world. Lets just say that the fact that I am not the worlds best driver and he is not the brightest dog is not the best combination. An accident was bound to happen eventually. As I was pulling into our driveway the other day Buoy was standing there watching me! I expected him to move out of the way but instead he stood there without moving and I accedently hit him with my car!!!! Whoops! Poor BUOY

A Good Wife!!!

I love my husband very much and I am always trying to come up with ways to make myself a good wife!!! Last week I was thinking of some nice things I could do for my husband when I realized the tools he had were very dirty..... Idea... I decided to be a good wife and clean his tools in the dishwasher!!! Apparently though your not suppose to do that (it ruins the tools or something). Tanner along with our friends found this to be the funniest thing ever and have taken it upon themselves to tell everyone they know!!!! In my defense I didn't know you couldnt wash tools and well we got a funny story out of it!!!

Halloween!!!!

This year we had an absolute blast on Halloween!!! We went down to charleston with a group of our closest friends and dressed up as the cast of GREASE!!!! Below are my top five Charleston Halloween moments!

1. Playing suck and blow at the King Street Grill (yes we were a bunch of twenty year olds playing suck and blow)
2. Bitting the Gingerbread Man (pic soon to come)
3. Brittney and Daniel Throwing me off the rickshaw and making me walk!!! BAHAHAHA
4. Singing songs from Grease while walking down Market st.
5. Tanner having to carry me down Market ST !!!

Pumpkin Carving

Tanner and I decided to include our friends in our annual pumpkin carving activities!!! We had a lot of fun and I hope this is a tradition that we will continue... As you see from the pictures above my husband is very creative and me, well not so much....lol... He spent about an hour and a half drawing and carving his pumpkin...He also drew Shawn's pumpkin for her...They looked amazing! I however am not patient enough to spend and hour and a half on a pumpkin! I made a "G" !!! Which I was pretty impressed with!

Crystals Baby-Shower

I realize that the shower was in August and that I am a little late posting these pictures but I was very proud with the outcome of the shower and thought it would be a shame not to post. I worked very hard on the shower with the help of my wonderful husband and creative mother!!! Everyone pitched in and I think it turned out lovely...Even the weather held out that day...

update!!!

I know it has been a while since I have updated the blog. So many things have been going on and I just havent had the time!!! School has started and surprisingly I am really enjoying teaching third grade. I was very nervous about going to a younger age group but they are adorable and they really want to please you and make you happy. Which means they behave a whole lot better....This year is my final adept year (hopefully) I have two more unit samples to complete and another set of long range plans hopefully though next year will not be as stressful.
